Good player. Couldn't be arsed. Would never come back anyway.

Genuinely thought he was terrible, floated around the pitch without a care in the world and contributed nothing, I have no idea how so many people rate him.

People on here or Blackpool's site were comparing him to Toure, most amusing! :-)

He was awful, always thought his Brother was a player though.....

The boy had talent but no heart. Terribly inconsistent.

He'll be scared to come back after I said I'd kick his ass if he didn't win that cup final. ;-)

My mates were referring to him as Yaya when he first signed. I did say give it a few weeks and you will be calling him poopoo.

I lily-livered never-was who disgraced the green. His type are the sort of imposters who must never be allowed to take money out of our club.

I would rather have George Osbourne at least I would enjoy giving him some verbals.

Surely not in a footballing sense?

Don't talk nonsense. You loved Ozzy. Still do. Crave his return on a daily basis, so you do.

Never seen a player who was off-balance as much as Osbourne. I'd have the likes of Keenan, Kerr and Rankin back before him.

An absolute calamity of a player.

Better off with this Osbourne:

Rank-rotten, he'll find his level eventually which is Conference - at best.

Indeed it was, though thankfully it was Blackpool fans just after they got him from us, believe it or not I doubt there is anyone daft enough on here to make the comparison which is really saying something! :-)

Half decent player, no particular desire to be at Hibs, not what we now want.

He was never the same player after rod forgot to get him a birthday cake.

He was good on the few occasions around that time where Hibs looked a half decent side. 3-2 Dunfermline springs to mind. Probably why some didn't mind him.

Faint praise over.

:agree: Its no coincidence that the whole thing went downhill when Petrie stopped making them himself and sent Calderwood round to Tesco for the ready made efforts - the boy couldn't even pick a decent cake.

Interesting stats(or maybe not:greengrin)
Average league match attendance from English Conference season 2013/14 1864 (highest Luton 7387, lowest Hyde 689)
Average league match attendance from Scottish Championship season 2014/14 1795 (highest Dundee 4738, lowest Cowdenbeath 623).
Conclusion, nothing in it, I would think the player budget/wages etc will also be on par

I've been quite generous in my assessment of some pretty average Hibs players in my time, but I could never understand how anyone rated Osbourne. I believe he had a couple of decent performances away at Celtic and Dunfermline, but I didn't see him do anything in the many times I saw him at ER.

In addition, he was one of the many who didn't show up in that final. The fact that we got a fee for him is a minor miracle.

He was/is one of these players , and there are many around, who look good in a good side .
When asked to " put their life on the line" they are found wanting

Personally found him hugely frustrating, obviously had some talent but rarely showed it or dominated a game.

Very inconsistent and not what we need. Allowed ian black free reign when he should have been imposing himself. If we are going to spend a decent wage we need someone who can get their foot on the ball and impose themselves on mccullouch, black, gomis and buaben.
