Dont think there was a trial,it was agreed in principle he would sign under the old regime

Edit........you could be right, just re read it and it says "after a move to Hibernian fell though"

To be fair maybe they are prepared to break the bank to fill the Alan O'Brien role? We never managed to replace him either despite some close run things:-)

The worrying thing is O'Brien was better than half the dross we have had to watch over the past 5 years. Scary.
