Hibs head down the A1 on their pre-season tour of England today.

There could be the chance of a first look at our new signing(s).

Maybe Trialists on show?

Any (informative) feedback would be much appreciated by those of us going shopping with the Missus

41 years and 9 months ago, I wish my wife had a "headache" as today I, although I live in Dunbar and the game is only down the road I find myself having to go to Livingston for a birthday celebration. Aaggghhh so much for forward planning eh.

P.S. The weather is lovely down here, sunny and very warm.

Always good to give the oldest and original Rangers a game, great day out. Much friendlier bunch than the modern day impostors who we have yet to visit for the first time:-)

It's getting a bit hairy now on the Trains.

Playmaking extraordinaire! It's worth keeping in mind that Forster is a very promising centre half at the beginning of his career. With Stubbs at the helm and the new regime in place, he could turn out to be a very good player indeed.

He maybe feels at this stage we need Experience of Nelson be interested how folk feel he is playing and whether he has confidence back and can he adapt to not just lumping the ball forward

Not bothered what people say, although it was only VoL and Berwick Rangers, two 0-4 wins will do wonders for their confidence!

So glad it sounds like we're getting the ball down and playing it more now! Tuesday against Dunfermline will be the biggest test of the 3 games.

Max went to my school and used to score goals for fun for the school team. Reason we won the league and we were scuppered after promotion following him leaving at the end of 5th year to peruse football with hibs. I used to muck about with him at training and out at meggatland. He has pace along with an excellent touch, really hope he goes on to big things at the club. Great lad. Also I should add - He scored a goal to win us the independent schools cup at tynecastle as well so hope his habit of scoring there continues ;)

Dunno what rest of people thot but it was the usual suspects that were poor, Especially Nelson. This guy should be done under the trades description act.

Foster wasn't that much better mind you when he came.

Defo positives were the young guys, Lewis Allan is a unit and he put himself about really well, held the ball up and scored a nice finish. I really like the number 24 and 22 not sure of there names, the only got 25minutes but looked great. Tom Gardnier looks good too, he needs go baulk up abit but he looks very tidy. Booth great to see back also.

David Gray was good, some nice runs and a couple of well timed challenges. The other trialist I wasn't so impressed with but I'd imagine it must be hard to come into game like thAt. I read somewhere else,he could play centre half which I would be very surprised if that was the case.

All in all an entertaining 90mins and a good day out in the sunshine.

I know this is a thread.about yesterday's game, but there's something that Stubbs says that really bugs me about Hibs.

He's confirmed Combe is the new goalkeeping coach, there's pictures of Holden taking training, and talk on here from reliable posters that we have signed more than one player - Yet none of this has been announced on the official site. Is it really that surprising that some fans think nothing is going on behind the scenes when we're so bad at releasing news?
