Where have folk been watching the games? Watched quite a few in Footlights and The Chanter, was in Platform 5 at Haymarket on Friday for the first time (surprisingly cheap) and had a good night in The Phoenix last night.

Cak and Barrel in Newington is a decent place to watch the footy. Good beer and plenty of TVs.

I like the pheonix for football, the big screen behind the bar is a good idea.

Really like Platform 5 was there on friday with a couple of lads for the 1st game then back last night with the missus for food and the Brazil game.

Pints of Peroni are £4 but well worth it and the food was brilliant!

I've enjoyed Shakespeare's on Lothian rd for a few games. Two massive screens ( with good picture ) and loads of TVs and dare I say it in my older age "not too busy" !

Reverie on Newington road is the place to be for all Oranje games. You even get a free stroopwafel at half time.

I used to like watching football at the Brauhaus until it became a fan club for the more bigoted of the Hearts support.

I've just managed down to Edinburgh for one game and went there for Brazil v Chile. Absolutely brilliant atmosphere, loads of Brazilians, salsa band and great scran.

If they'd made the final I was going to head down for it.

Funnily enough, Ryans bar was recently infiltrated by some of these types when I last paid a visit. Crap gaff anyway, won't be back.

Awful place. Used to be quite good with real ale offers etc. Better going to Mathers across the road. Old style pub.

I was back in there again last night, I'm quite impressed with it too, could be an "interesting" venue on big match days at Tynie! :-)

Anyone see the pub in Ireland that knocked 50¢ per pint for every German or Brazilian goal whoops

I see Tartan Special is back on the shelves, God help us. I suppose it'll be to cash in on The Games/Referendum etc.

Mathers east end. Was brilliant back in the day, went really downhill but back on form. Watched Brazil v Colombia there. A wee change from the Cask and Barrel which is great but always busy.

Platform 5 is decent, was in again this afternoon after several previous visits, might just settle for watching the final at home though.
