Sometimes I wonder who I dislike more, the iborx shower or the jr's.

Hate going there as I have never received the personal vitriolic abuse that you get there ,anywhere else . but it's a 15 minute drive from my house so will probably go just to see how both teams are shaping up for new season

That's what I was thinking as well. Probably would have been a decent visiting support on a Saturday.

I'm the opposite - Ibrox is my favourite away game of the lot.

I can't say that's really been my experience.

Inside the stadium there's been the usual nutters but never had much hassle in transit... at least outside of my wilder youth.

Why are they not calling them The Rangers?

Because that's not the name of the club.

Indeed - quite hacked off with this.

Tie should have been swapped to ER IMO - not our fault they are trying to host the commonwealth games. Like Celtic they've had to change venue's to host their games on time, why should they be any different?

Now i won't go and will now watch on Alba. Beers in Leith somewhere! :flag:

Booked the Tuesday and the Wednesday off work to allow for a session in the Weej for this one - cannot wait.

Taking a few friends through for this one, should be good. Tuesday nights a stinker though

If the price is right then I'll be there. If its anything like £28 they can forget it though. How many tickets will we get for this?

As if Champions League qualifiers are remotely comparable to the challenge cup...

Regardless, any delay is surely good news for us given our lack of players!

Same here. Never had much trouble there and I have been the only Hubs fan on the underground and I wore my scarf. Admittedly they all stared as if I was from Mars. Certainly had no personal abuse. Maybe i need to introduce myself.

Looking forward to playing them. In Scotland they are still a big club and we have had some great games against them. So while they are still around I want to play them.

I've been spat at and had many a thing thrown in my direction. Coins, pies, cups of liquid and what I think was a golf ball. The pubs around queen street can be more dodgy than being around the stadium though.

They are a vile bunch and have proved themselves to be so en masse repeatedly. Every club has it's problems but not every club is a problem.

I'd that a recent experience? I would say your post was a good description of the Ibrox experience 20 years ago, but I have never encountered any problems in my visits there in the last decade or so.
Always enjoy a visit to Ibrox - decent away end and stewarding that is a lot less hostile than that faced at Celtic Park.

Funnily enough, same here.

The last time I ever lamped somebody at a game was a big gubbed Celtc Fan outside Celtc Park.

Yeah, the stadium things were up until they filled the corners in and we were moved there. The a...holes around Queen Street are still there though.

It could be the lowest support at that hovel in a long, long time. There were about 250 there in 1984 when Colin Harris scored the winner.....I reckon it will be even less than that this time....

The ones who want to support the team will be there regardless. I think we'll take numbers.

No such thing as a meaningless game and I want to win the cup.
