Good luck to Tom. Good player who was good enough to stay on had we not had too many CDMs still under contract.

Agree, always tried his best and had some good games. Should do well with them.

Unless we make a signing tomorrow then I suspect that Tom will be getting compared favourably with Xavi Hernandez by the time this thread gets to 3 pages.
:-(
Wish him well but glad he is gone.

Actually thought Taiwo would do a job next season. Wouldn't be surprised if he came back to haunt us. Much Better player than Tudor-Jones. All the best to him.

That phrase has lost all meaning now.

Always thought he was quite a tidy wee player, nothing special but certainly did a job when called upon. Him and MacDonald are 2 good signings for Falkirk, they could be serious players next season.

Play Falkirk on the 3rd week of the season, better be prepared to face them. They were a decent team last season and they seem to have added to it

I always thought he was pretty pish Tbh.

Busy enough but contributed next to nothing imo.

With season tickets stalling and no signings looking likely any time soon I think its time to realise we are in the Championship for several years. There is no money for big signings. It will be loans and laddies so we just better get used to it.

Taiwo is as good as any of our current midfielders - certainly would have been the best holding midfielder ..good luck to him - neat , tidy , good technical player

Always liked him as a player. Would defo still have him in our squad.

Disagree.

Fair enough, suppose the fact he dropped down a division shows he never impressed too many spfl clubs either.

Well there's going to be plenty room for them. Take their pick of pegs as there will be plenty empty ones at the rates we are going.

The main worry with Taiwo was he was a very short midfielder in a squad of short midfielders.
Height isn't everything but it does help.

I kind of thought that if you put Tom Taiwo's attitude and ability into Tudor-Jones body you'd have some player.....

Best of luck to the lad, I liked him & would rather have kept Tom than OTJ. Always put the effort in & did a job when asked.

If it was between them two and they were both on the same contract, I don't think any manager would choose OTJ over Taiwo. He's a very tidy player. Again, another that would've done well in an attacking team doing the dirty work in midfield. I say this all the time, but it's the team that important, not the players. Hibs have had some good players, but we've not had a good squad since 2007, in my opinion.

Well how about folk get of their ***** and buy one how about paul kane and co open their mouths and encourage instead of helping to create the apathy thats growing like a cancer.
Hibs fans are really something else so much for "we'll support you ever more"

From Chelsea (for some of £5m) to Falkirk via Carlisle and Hibs. Says it all about Taiwo.
