We could have St. Mirren's strips for next season.

This is what a real monstrosity looks like....

It's unique at least, not just a generic template.

It's unique gone wrong. Ours is boring, but that strip is just sheer painful to look at.

We've got a problem with our strips as well ...................... filling them!

And if you thought that was bad.
Check out their home strip.

They have gave someone an acid and left them in a room with photo shop and came up with that.

While they gave our designer two Amitriptyline and all he done was get a red sticker on the shirt before sleeping.

I may be alone but I quite like them, especially the away! I think they have done something a little different and it works and it's easily distinguishable as a kit designed for them and not a plain kit bought in bulk with badges and logos slapped on them

At least it looks exciting, 2014 and like it's been designed exclusively for them.

Our's reeks of mousers, beige slacks, grey comfy shoes, quiet nights in, Marks and Spencers, Golden Retrievers, Barry Manilow, meat and two veg darling. So Rod chose it!

(No offence intended if that sounds like you. Really!)

I like the away one. The home one is awful though.

Much prefer that to the home, yuck.

I don't mind that away top.

Prefer either to our effort to be brutally honest.

I saw it yesterday and really liked it. I like that the home top looks like it's trying to tear through.

Away strips are allowed to be over the top verging on minging. They're basically beachwear for the summer holidays.

Their home strip's a shocker though. Not as bad as ours, but still pretty poor.

Although the st mirren kit is awful, it at least looks like someone tried to do something a bit different (even if they failed). With ours it looks like nobody put any effort in, which is so disappointing.

That's absolutely stinkin'. Almost as bad as HOMFC strip.

The reactions on this thread, to St Mirren's home and away strips, offers relatively convincing proof that agreement on style etc is pretty well impossible, much like the reaction to our new home kit

I agree. I actually hated the bottle green top of 2 seasons ago, although most people loved it. I also hate the new Hearts strip this coming season with the collar, and not jut because its Hearts, but loads think it looks great!

We will never please everyone all of the time

Proof, if indeed proof were required, I loved that top :greengrin

Apologies if you take offence to me highlighting the parts of your post I wanted to respond to. I did read it all though, honest
