Decent enough signing.
He had the Cumbrian fans on his side after his sad news a couple of years back. Then screwed up by being suspended for a bit nonsense last night season.
He'll do a job though.

Average player in his previous SPL days. Had to overcome a personal tragedy then performed averagely at Carlisle. Now signed for a bottom half/mid table Scottish premiership team...... Not really sure why he even warrants a mention here??

If he's Boyds replacement then Killie are weaker than last year.

They are potential play off opponents so that's good news.

Yep. Good news for whoever earns the right to play them, assuming they finish in the play off position.

Are we not trying to win the league. Let's just settle for second best

Who cares. More interested in who are we signing. Seem to be releasing players at the moment.

Not a bad signing for them they landed on their feet getting Boyd bit like us getting sparky.

Its a forum for people to discuss football, not just Hibs, that'll be why the OP posted it where he did.

True , but who could they have signed to match Boyd ...I can't think of a name that would be within their budget - perhaps Higdon would have been the nearest
