Lotus Caramelised Biscuit Spread

Anyone else tried this stuff?

Akin to putting cocaine in a jar and selling it :greengrin

Similar idea to Nutella but the taste of those small caramlised biscuits some coffee shops give you in the red wrappers.

Given it a try - it is ludicrously lovely! No idea what to spread it on, it's the jar and a teaspoon for just now...

I don't have a sweet tooth, but I fund this stuff in France a number of years ago and, as said above, it's hard drugs in a jar. I brought some back each year until it started appearing here*. And I've never found any other way of using it, other than eating it off a spoon.


*Waitrose and Sainsbury's have it, and you can choose between smooth, and crunchy (wrong). They keep it beside the peanut butter and Nutella

Not had or seen it. Sounds nice though, will keep my eye out. Have you tried that Hartleys strawberry and vanilla jam? Well nice! Just had it now on two croissants, fit! :)
