Kilmarnock wanted him as manager it says. Sounds promising as they obviously regarded him high enough to make him number 1 never mind number 2.

If so I hope his wife likes Edinburgh, he had to leave West Ham back in the 90s as his other half didn't like London!

Luckily she could probably live in east Lothian, midlothian, west Lothian,or Fife etc I'm sure she could find somewhere to suit.

Didn't he leave West Ham for Villa to move nearer his wife's family in the North West not realising that Villa played in Birmingham and not Lancashire? Don't think he played for Villa as he moved pretty swiftly to Everton.
May be here for a while if they don't like moving around

At least they won't be in awe of East Mains, Finch Farm is superb, was there last year with some U12's it's a great set up.

Maybe they'll actually know how to best use the training centre then!

They will still be told to mention how impressed they were with EM and ER when they get unveiled.

Exactly. Outside the OF we have the best training facilities in the country yet we still fall behind teams still dodging dog ***** down the local park.

Hoping that they will be impressed with our set up, disappointed with the out put, motivated to improve it.

I always liked Unsworth as a player, he took great corners, and if he was anything like that as a coach he'd be a great addition. That is an 'if' though.

East mains and easter road must be an attraction for a new management team ,just the the football team to achieve
Even though we have the best facilities in europe, we should slum it once in a while on the public parks. Say once a month, just to show what we used to do and to appreiciate what we now have.

The best facilities in Europe?? Really?
Well no really. Just a bit sarky the way some folks go on about them.
