Some of my earliest memories are of TM sprinting onto the pitch with the magic sponge. He looked fitter than most of the players!

Happy birthday Tom, one of the very best & the regard former players have for him speaks volumes. Top man !!

Happy birthday Tom. The first time he was at Hibs he used to always wear a white hat but when he came back it was gone.

It would have to be former players 'cos that's about all we have right now.
Good to hear Tom is still held in high regard by those he treated over the years at ER.
Hope you're in good health Tom. Happy Birthday!:aok:

Good to hear Tom is still going strong, must admit I always thought he was an old man, but when I first started going to the games he must have been little older than I am now.

Tam joined at the start of 1963/64 season, from Third Lanark. Believe it or not, he was only 29 at the time!

Happy Birthday Tam and best wishes for many more!

I had the pleasure of meeting Tam back in the 70's when I was introduced to him by some players at ER then when I had suffered a leg injury when playing.

Tam treated me at his private clinic at Saughtonhall and had me safely back playing in no time whereas others I had been getting treated by had been unable to do so!

He was a great story teller whilst at work and, as a big Hibs fan, I found his football stories riveting!!

A great guy!

A very Hibbie Birthday to one of our own!!

Tam was always a gentleman and had time for all supporters.

Very highly thought of by the players he looked after in the 70's.

I still have the image of him sprinting out on to the field with the white bonnet on to treat his laddies.

Hope he has a brilliant day reminiscing with the players he knew so well.

My mates and I used to hang about Easter Road on school holidays to find out where training was and then tear off to somewhere like the Jack Kane on our bikes to watch.

Tam always had time for us and tried his best at quieter moments to explain some of the routines to the awe-struck.

I remember watching dead ball routines with Alex Edwards relentlessly pegging the ball to any given targets feet, then Erich Scheadler trying the same with comic effect.

Hope he is in good health. I'm surprised he is only 80!

A true Tornado.

Bit late but many happy returns to him!

A gem of a guy. Had the pleasure of being his neighbour for 22 years.
