As with any Hibs managerial appointment I have candidates I'll favour over others, though when the appointment is made I always ultimately manage to get excited and behind the decision pretty quickly - this has been the case with all managers appointed in the last 20 years, though I find it hardest to get excited about Calderwood in any way.

Ian is someone that I would have little trouble working up enthusiasm for.

I wouldn't agree with the experienced bit, but that might actually be a good thing when compared to "set in his ways".

I'd be happy with Murray as long as we (the fans and the board) give him time and forgive him a few mistakes along the way without getting on his back.

I would back Ian, but he just signed a 2 year deal with Dumbarton. So that, as well as Butchers pay off... We still need to build a team too ! We don't have a keeper for Christ sake !
