Okay so he managed the Yams quite successfully, but IMO he's a very good manager tactically and that's something we've been missing for a while. He's out of work just now after an unsuccessful spell with a Cypriot team, but it'd be interesting to see what kind of response I get to this suggestion!!

Good manager who handled himself in a well mannered and fairly classy style for a Hearts manager. Don't think I could stomach it though.

The phrase "unsuccessful spell with Cypriot team" says it all really! Did well with the financial cheats but remember how much they were spending at the time compared to everyone else. No thanks

Not Hibernian minded enough will be the thoughts of many.

A few years ago I'd have told the op to bolt but I don't think Calderwood would be the worst choice out there. There's not going to be a queue hammering down the door and I think I'd prefer JC over Ian Murray or Danny Lennon :no way:

matty_f
10-06-2014, 05:18 PM
I genuinely never want to see the name Calderwood associated with Hibernian ever again.

Merging these threads creates confusion, who are folk saying no to?

Mjallby would be interesting.

Always love trying to work out who's abusing who exactly when these threads are merged.

yeezus.
10-06-2014, 05:38 PM
A big no from me to Sergio and JC but I don't think Mjallby would be the worst decision ever made... mind you I said that about TB.
