The latest World Cup finals kick off on the 12th of June and hibs.net is running a free to enter Prediction League competition.

Please read everything...

To enter:
If you wish to play, let me know on this thread as you will have to be added manually to the list. You can, alternatively, send me a private message if you're too shy to post.

One entry per registered member.

The first 4 places at the end of the tournament will win vouchers to be used in the club shop. Prizes are as follows...

First prize: £50 in vouchers.

2nd prize: £35 in vouchers.

3rd: £25 in vouchers.

4th: £10 in vouchers.


In case of any dispute, hibs.net's decision is final.


You may have to register on the Prediction League page if you haven't taken part in a previous PL of this type.

For those who haven't taken part before, it's a painless procedure.

Click the following link and select 'new user' which is below the Login section at top left.
Select a user name, a password and an e-mail address and click the 'Create' button.

You can join in at any time through the competition but the sooner the better.

All fixtures are in place now so fill them all in as soon as you like. You can always change them before the matches kick off but at least you'll have something in place in case you forget.

The scoring system goes like this...

1 point for the correct result. If you predict, say, 3-1 and it's 2-0 you score one point.
3 points for the correct score. You predict 2-2 and it's 2-2 you score 3 points.

All prediction games are over 90 minutes so extra time and penalties do not count for the purposes of this competition.


Any problems or questions, just ask.
Sometimes simply logging out of the Prediction League page then logging back in again can solve a problem.

Fixtures beyond the group stages have been temporarily 'filled in' by the software on the 'Tournament Standings' and 'Wall Chart' pages.

You've run into the wee glitch that can pop up at the start of these competitions wherby the box next to your name somehow becomes unticked. I'll keep ticking the box, you keep trying to make predictions. Once you've made your first one, the glitch won't affect you again for this competition.
