View Full Version : Do you want a reduction in your season ticket price

Do you want a part refund on your season ticket price?

I also voted no, the club needs every penny it can get it's hands on.

It depends on what happens with walk up prices for me... If they drop a good few quid and no extra sweeteners then id be more likely to vote Yes. It would go against the whole 'value' argument we have from buying one and I was on the fence more than any year when I signed up for the early bird.
Heart says sod it and give to team but I'd feel cheated and still feel I've given club enough over last few years and told 'it goes to the team' - could have fooled me!

No. Hibs need our money more than ever. As long as the money is put to good use then they can keep whatever the difference in price is.

I feel positive about LD coming in board. Yes, we've heard positive before and it hasn't materialised, however, I'm willing to give LD a go and she has my support.

No. My season ticket is my commitment to my club.

It wouldn't bother me in the slightest though if the club reduced walk up prices to try to attract bigger crowds, and encourage the younger generation to attend matches. They are the future of the club.

I'd be happy if gave me next years for £300 for fans that have renewed for current season.

Failing that want refund. Not my responsibility to fund farmers company. Its his blue eyed boy petrie that's relegated us.

1/ If prices stay the same i.e both season tickets and walk ups, how many will renew or even come to support us?
2/ If season tickets stay the same but walk ups are cheaper why would you renew and how many would renew?
To be honest I can't remember the last time I left easter rd and said that was a great game, I love Hibs but I haven't enjoyed it for a while. We need to do all we can to get more fans back and the team where it belongs.
If season ticket prices stay at the same price but walk ups pay less I cant see too many people renewing their season tickets.
I have renewed already, and I am happy to pay that price, so long as I get a discount next year if prices are now to be reduced.

Not interested in club shop voucher that would be an insult to those that showed loyalty and bought early. To fat to buy anything from there anyway haha.

Discount on next years or when we get back up.

Or refund now.

£100 off next year for anyone with a season ticket this year should do the trick.

Combined with a general reduction in next years prices down to 300.

Meaning people who buy both years pay 400 then 200, averaging 300 per season. Hopefully, the second of which being back in the premiership.

Not strictly Ronnie each shirt will cost Hibs around a tenner so by offering up a bogof Hibs still make a £20 profit, as not every one would buy two shirts normally it's actually not too bad a hit for the club.

As for a refund it's a no from me, however a gesture from the club would not go amiss, something outside the box a bit like a season ticket only 3rd shirt for £20 or something (I'm not in marketing lol) but I really would like to see a gesture of thanks from the club

If they do introduce a loyalty scheme this season (it's been rumoured) those who renewed early should start a good few points north of zero.

That would mean refunding those of us who have already paid for a cup top-up.

Personally, I hope those going along today make it clear that the money should be used to get us back on track.

I agree with that.

I don't want any reduction or any sort of refund as things stand but I would be uncomfortable with the thought of walk up prices being reduced next season when season tickets haven't been and the whole point of a season ticket is that it's supposed to represent the best value of money as opposed to walking up every week and handing over gate money.

Season ticket monies give the manager an idea of what his player budget for the coming season will be. :agree:

I was doubtful about buying a season ticket. However, I like what I hear from our new CEO. I trust this lady. So, am happy to buy at the current price. Lets get us out of this league.

No.

I bought my ST to support Hibs, the league we would be in never came into it (although admittedly it wasn't a huge issue when I renewed as I massively underestimated Butcher and the players incompetence).

I'd rather the money was used to get us out the league we are in at the 1st time of asking.

Went down last week and renewed. I still want the best for this club and if that's ST prices being same as the Prem then so be it. I want us to be able to compete with Hearts and The Rangers for players.

All that's needed is Rod and Butcher to go and personally I think we'll see a rise in sales.

No, but if they start selling cut price seasons now I would not be against some kind of sweetener like a complimentary hospitality voucher or something like that. Some supporters would probably take someone else along so it would not cost the club too much.

Albion Hibs
08-06-2014, 04:04 PM
No. I think it would maybe be different if I had not already renewed, however, that money is now gone and provided we get a team that reflects the cost of the season ticket at spl prices I would rather that. Hibs should maybe consider working with the likes of livi or raith to see if there can be something done whereby people renewing at spl prices maybe get a few away tickets.

That's my point though. Don't charge premier prices if your just going to fill the team with championship journeymen because that's when the moaning will rightly start. If our season tickets are the 3rd or 4th most expensive in scotland then we should be employing the 3rd or 4th best footballers in scotland. If they aren't then where is our money going.
