Probably on holiday at the moment I would reckon. Suspect that he will not be released/told he can go, but Hibs will take a decent offer IF they get one.

Still reckon he could do us a good job with the right type of service and support. A lone target man he ain't!

For the record I'm not a fan and wouldn't be sorry to see him go but you're spot on about service.

Even a proven SP(F)L level goalscorer like Boyd would not have done much for us this season given how deep the team sat and how little we produced going forward.

Griffiths papered over a lot of cracks by making goals out of nothing.

We currently lack anyone with pace, the guile and skill to beat a man, the ability to play a defence splitting pass or the ability to put in a good cross.
Any striker whose skill set is putting away chances would flounder at Hibs based on that.
