Hibs are in the news for all the wrong reasons now.

Yes we were relegated and deservedly so as we were the worst team in the league.

All the infighting just plays into the hands of our opponents and will stop players wanting to sign for us.

Now is the time to set aside differences and everyone, board fans and manager pulls together so Hibernian fc can be a force again.

Right well get yourself down to this rally next Saturday and show the depth of feeling there is for change. If there is big enough numbers real change could happen.

Wise sentiments but there's a torrent of water still to flow under the bridge.

Sorry but the removal of 1 person doesn't make everything rosy.

We still have to build a team in 10 weeks or we just get left behind

Nope but it is likely to persuade some to part with money for a season ticket who won't if that one person is there. Surely we all want to do everything in our power to maximise season ticket income.

I don't personally care if Petrie is there or not but unfortunately he has become the story rightly or wrongly and is now a hindrance to progress.

You're right. Removing Rod Petrie probably won't make everything rosy.

What it will do is remove the target of much of the anger and resentment towards the club. If our new CEO comes in with a positive message it is likely to be far better received if there is no suspiscion Petrie is behind the scenes pulling the strings. It might just tempt a few to renew or buy STs and it might just allow the period of healing and rebuilding to begin.

Getting rid of Rod Petrie won't solve all our problems, far from it, but it will allow the process of engaging the fans again to begin imo. Your call is for us to pull together, one of the huge obstacles preventing that is Petrie.

I may be totally wrong here ,,,,but
there`s 3 ways to remove RP,,,
1 A vote of no confidence from the board
2 Sir Tom Farmer bullets him
3 He resigns
No chance of any of the 3 above
It would seem that he can get any amount of incumnents [sp] his words not mines and fail
any other work place he would have been sacked years ago
like the TITANIC,,,HE THINKS HE IS UNSACKABLE......
