Heard a rumour today that Edinburgh businessman, Kevin Doyle was to get involved in a joint venture for regime change. I know his son but always thought that he was a Celtic man.

Personally think the rumour is nonsense.

I'm sure there were rumours of an interest from him years ago.

He's a Celtic supporter though that wouldn't, of course, preclude him from owning Hibs.

I agree. Kevin Doyle has enough on his plate to be getting involved in Hibs.

Can't see him getting directly involved - and certainly not publicly as might bring threats of damage to his core public business interests (high quality pubs e.g. the Dome) from some unwelcome attention. I believe it was discussed before but core business makes it a no - I suppose the Benidorm headlines won't help re timing of any change of heart either.

Interesting point - would we rather have an owner who supports another team, or an owner who isn't interested in football at all?

Pat Stanton would be the man to ask if its true they are or at least used to be good pals

Being frae the sticks and over 50 I know nothing about this guy or his core business. I bet you the concourse under the East would make a great rave joint ...... chuck up some lights, put optics in the pie stalls shove in a smoke machine & Bobs yer uncle. Charge a fiver to get in.

FF concourse could be turned into an indoor bowling club for us oldies ..... chuck doon a bit of astroturf and shout go!

We don't make enough of the indoor space we have lying empty 300 odd days a year.

Kenneth Waugh & Billy Lowe are well known Hibs fans yet none of their high profile bars have been targeted over the last 20 years.
