That's the pitch been ripped up(unfortunately without the players still on it). We could perhaps go for a plastic pitch next season seeing as it's the only surface we seem to be able to win-or even score-on.

Or we could just leave it as a ploughed field seeing as the ball rarely touches the ground anyway? Decisions 12656

No need for grass if hoofball butcher remains that's for sure...

I thought the pitch looked good on Sunday.

It's certainly been re-seeded the past few years

We'd best hope that Butcher hasn't been allowed to pick the new turf otherwise it will be something that doesn't allow football to be played on it :worried:

Said for years ER should be a plastic pitch as there is big incomes to be had through subsequence events been held there. Ie Pop concerts.

I read that as Iggy Pop concerts first time.

I was at ER on Tuesday night. We were told the pitch isn't getting relaid. There's not enough time for it to take because we were in playoffs and Championship starts earlier than Premiership. Patchwork repairs are taking place. ie goalmouths.

The photo from the OP looks more than goalmouth patchwork

The picture would prove that to be wrong. Everything's been ripped up.

I would doubt that even with a plastic pitch ER would be some sought after concert venue.

Maybe they plan to put down a plastic pitch for match and training use so they can sell East Mains.

Can we protest that we won't be back again until they make it slope from one end to the other?
