Apologies if already flagged in other threads - but this is, as I understand it, the first time we've ever lost a penalty shoot out. What a season for breaking all the wrong records this has been.

I remember thinking that for ages we never lost shoot outs, but I am sure we did lose one in recent years to break that record?

What I would seriously like to know is did we even practice penalties? Some may find this a defeatist attitude being 2-0 up from first leg, however I call it being professional.
