What's it like in Edinburgh right now. It's chucking it down in Livingston. Starting to flood all the roads.

Safe to say we won't need to water the pitch.

Total Monsoon at Fairmilehead but I can see a wee peek of Sunshine coming up from the Borders. Hopefully it will stop a while over Leith about 3.30

Pishing it down by Cameron Toll. Was in bus shelter and when the bus came along I just stuck my arm out the bus shelter in the hope that the bus driver would see me and stop. It worked and it's still hammering it down.

Absolutely bucketing down in Newington, floods on the roads. I take it there's no danger of it being called off?!

The tropical rainstorm that people are experiencing seems to be on the move. Had it here (SW Edinburgh) until about 10 minutes ago, and it's not raining at all now.

I do. Garry O'Connor sliding on his backside on the waterlogged pitch then the sun came out. Weather forecast is for more heavy rain. That's if it goes off.

Nope pretty quiet with rain - loads of tickets needing collected apparently (why not print and save everyone the hassle ) management as I predicted earlier have put on sale extra hospitality seats and half a block at top of south - we have to leave to 800 seats above them empty

It is a shame we can't move the segregation a little more along to free up more seats

I'm sitting in The Mash Tun, with a well deserved Guinness after the half marathon, and the sun is shining on Leith right now, clouds seem to be breaking up but I guess we could have showers most of the day
