Someone should tweet @hibsannouncer and ask him to play these, in their entirety, on Sunday.

Also so tell him not to play Sunshine on Leith. Sundays game is crucial but it's not a celebration.

Apparently a few folk did and he just responded with "SoL" will be played before the game..

That mash up was brilliant though !! Would love to listen to that before a game !

It doesn't really fit, not even in the same key!

SOL should ONLY be played after the game when we win!

Teenage kicks has to be one of the most bizarre and worst tracks out there connected to Hibs. Or maybe I'm getting old?! :D

Teenage kicks is an amazing and iconic song from a superb band..... Mind you I am a weeeeee bit older than you!!! ;-)

I agree although I fall into that wee bit older category! If I remember correctly it was played in a midweek game just after the great John Peel died and was adopted for the young Mowbray team. I love the song, as do my teenage kids.

Teenage kicks when we had a team of teens coming through was tremendous!! The old terracing used to be bouncing for the big games!! 'Let me entertain you' was surprisingly good as well, if a little cheesy

I always regarded "Let Me Entertain You" as a statement of intent, even if what followed was a let down. Surprisingly good song as well, given the singer.

:agree: I agree - great song as it is it doesn't get the blood up in the way that's needed prior to kick off - it's a lament FFS! - announcer is clueless :rolleyes:
