Fantastic from Didier. Although I'm sure someone will be along shortly to dismiss it as a cynical ploy or other :greengrin

Definitely a cynical ploy or other. :agree:

Imagine earning so much from kicking a ball about that you can afford to donate £1m.

Fantastic, generous thing for him to do.

Drogba's the man, always been very charitable.

No a bad player either. World class when on his game.

Does a lot of good charity work does Drogba.

He has his own foundation to help educate and provide drugs for malaria in Africa. He also pledged a lot of money to help build a hospital in the Ivory Coast a few years ago.

I hope he remembered to get Yaya Toure a decent birthday present before wasting that much money on charity.

Anyone who does anything selflessly is a hero in my book. Whether a millionaire or someone on the breadline. Humanity at its best

Which is why those involved with Dnipro Kids are real heros

Great viewing, thanks. His postgame speech for peace on TV was very moving. Vive les elephants a le coupe de monde! :aok:
