Good stuff.

And interesting snippet from TB at the end... 'We've been training nicely', apparently.

Reminds me of Pat's regular assurances about training 'at a good tempo', I'm sure Yogi said the same. Our managers often tell us we are a committed and classy outfit on the training park. What happens on match day? Do our players freeze? Or are all our managers deluded?

Was at East mains on Sunday for Hibs ladies development squad' scottish cup tie. Was my first ever time on the facilities, shocked these players get to train here on this form.

Stand up and be counted indeed.

I'm bored with words now (except my own!), the situation we find ourselves in its actions that are required.

Well said Pat Stanton.

Spot on in what he says, the manager can only do so much fans can only do so much, bang on, as soon as that first whistle is blown then it is all down to how the players perform on the pitch after that, every one is standing up and doing there best the players need to do the same.

I never read to much in to what managers and players say, it's normally the same nonsense from them over and over :greengrin, but they have to say something to the press/media and they won't say negative things about there self's.

If i was to read in to "We've been training nicely" i would take from it that training hasn't been intense and more working on set pieces for attack and defending and just keeping the lads ticking over and conserving there energy for tomorrow night, now is not the time to be putting the players through hard sessions at the end of the season.
