I think Friedel blew so much money on his ill fated academy project he doesn't have any choice but to keep playing.

To still be able to play at the very top level at 43 is a hell of an acheivement. Still got a few years to catch Peter Shilton though.

He played in Ian Murrays testimonial in 2011 . Him Collins and Latapy were outstanding that day . How we could do with them now .
