Stuart Parnaby has just been released from the boro. he is a right back who i think would be a good addition to our squad. wonder if butcher would consider him? seems to have lost his form a bit but is a good player. lots of experience with is what we need!

A 31 year old who has lost a bit of form. I'm going to pass on this one

Has he been injuried a lot?

Has he been injuried a lot?

If so, he'd be the ideal Clancy replacement.

I think only if they were released during the transfer window or something.

You can only register players if they've been released prior to the window closing

For example if a Player is released on the 24th of January then he'd be eligible but if they were released on the 24th of Feb then they wouldn't be eligible UNLESS a player is made redundant due to his club not honouring his contract

Is he only 31? I'd have guessed 41.

:applause:

Just what we need. A footballer the wrong side of 31 who has been released due to injury problems. Never set the heather alight at his "peak", he ain't gonna do it now. Surely we need to aim better rather than just saying "Player X has been released, let's snap him up quickly"

This thread reminds me of the various Russell Anderson threads in the past.
