Take plenty Kunas! Actually it was quite reasonable price-wise. We were only there for one day on a cruise so only saw the old walled city but it was beautiful. About a tenner for entry to walk round the city walls. There are ferry trips to the islands, looked like a nice day out. Avoid the mussels in the restuarant at the harbour...not great :wink:

If you want to drown your sorrows try local drink called kruskovac got me blootered many a time !!
