Apologies if this is verging on the sentimental.

Anyone remember January 1985? We were staring relegation in the face. Had lost to THEM 1-3 on New Years Day; we were all hurting. The Evening News published a letter from a fan entitled "Rally Around the Hibees". It moved me to go through to Ibrox the next day and we won 2-1 (Brian Rice and Colin Harris - Roughie in inspired form). The Hibs fans who went through that day (about 200 of us) out sung the weegie unwashed and did our club proud.

It's time to do that now guys. Whatever team TB puts out tomorrow, forget about past disappointments, stop whinging about Petrie. Support the team for the 90 minutes.

The media and ****bos are loving all the bickering going on amongst the Hibs family.

Let's show a united face and do our club proud,

The fans will doubtless do ourselves proud. Again. It's time - like, REALLY time - for the players to do likewise
