Has anyone been here? We are going to salou in july and were wondering if its worth going and if best getting tickets here or there

Was there about 10 years ago, we enjoyed it. Can't compare it to any of the parks in florida as I've never been :) We got tickets on the net before we went and got a good deal, don't get it through the travel agent!!

Buy before you go - there's a water park there too.

Good park - definitely worth visiting

Was there in 2005, decent enough park from what i remember of it with some good rollercoasters. We had a voucher to get tickets 2 for 1 when we got to the park so have a look about online or in your hotel for deals like that before you go.

Me too, about 10 years ago. Really enjoyed the day however the bus back to Salou never showed up and we had to hoof it. It wasn't too far but we'd been on our feet all day so it was a bit of a trudge. Watch out for jelly fish in the sea at Salou - my daughter got stung not bad but irritating.

BTW, I remember seeing a man in the street wearing a Hibs top. He was arguing with his wife so I just walked on. It wisny you, was it?

Yup deffo worth getting tickets before you go...google "attraction tickets online" it was certainly worth it when we went :agree:

I was there last year but had the advantage of staying at the hotel right next door so they let us in for nothing as part of our deal. Really good though and we'll worth a visit!

I'm going in July too mate look out for us we'll have either hibs or Newcastle tops on

Just back. Had a great time but weather wasn't up to much. Defo buy your tickets over here instead of buying at the gate. Even the portaventura website is a lot cheaper than at the gate. Their doing an offer over there just now. If you buy 3 packs of chupa chups sweets and take them to the ticket booths your getting in for 20 euros each day. All the supermarkets are selling them. Not sure how long the promo lasts though. We got 2 days in PA and 1 day in the water park for 70 euros. Got them from the rep at the hotel and was well worth it as at the gate for PA its 79 euro just for one day in the park.
