BBC reporting we may play them in a friendly later this year. Wonder where with Hampden out of action.

Darkheid is being touted for the game.

Aye, you're right, it should be Edinburgh, with a respectable national stadium built here too.

So are you saying it should be held at Easter Road? (Scotland 1st city and the best football stadium in this city)?

No chance if that's what you mean. Sadly it will be in Glasgow.

Regardless of where it is its nice to be playing them again! I had a great time at Wembley for the last game. Its just got that extra edge over a run of the mill friendly.

If its no at Hampden then it will be at Parkhead. Would be glad to see it back, still never seen a Scotland v England match, missed the last one as i was on holiday. Although, i'm not sure I'd be in favour of making it every year. If you kept it fairly rare, i think you would keep more of the excitement in the fixture

Only the SFA would play the game at Ibrox when they could get 10k more fans in at parkhead.

Can't help but feel this fixture is well past it's sell by date.

How so? My local was jumping for the game, all of my English mates have said it was the best they had since in years.

The atmosphere created by both sets of fans at Wembley last year would suggest otherwise.

Maybe but just seems to me that we look back at days gone by, when we should be looking forward. Feel that it will all be about that one game and any other result is not important.

If Ecky had his way it would be. Build up patriotism just before the big day.

Has to be at Celtic Park really doesn't it, the atmosphere that ground generates is far better than Hampden or Ibrox for that matter, you just had to look at the league Cup Final, the acoustics great plus the SFA will sell out this game so the biggest stadium is the only option.

As for Murrayfield, the SFA wouldn't accept that as a venue for either Cup Final as they wanted to keep money in the game so I doubt it'd even be considered now.

I've absolutely no idea how you can back that up. It's one of the world's oldest rivalries on the football park, it's fantastic showpiece for the fans and the players love it as well!
