Just turned it on to see Cech being taken off after a collision with AM player but watch Luiz he actually pushes the AM player into Cech causing him to hurt himself. Yet the commentator fails to see this.

Still 0-0

How far are the dugouts and technical areas away from the halfway line!

:agree: Should have been peno for the Atleticos. Wonder if Jose will be congratulating the ref afterwards.

Not much time for Atletico Madrid, but Chelsea are probably the more loathesome of the two clubs.

Nobody can ever accuse Mourhino of being cavalier in his approach.

And what happened for Luiz to go down like he had been shot. Nothing wrong with him .... At it.

Chelsea doing everything but playing.

Bank of 4 then bank of 5 players directly in front of them.

They are playing very deep.

BORING CHELSEA!!

They can indeed. With 5 defenders and 2 holding MF's on the park I'm surprised they are not getting in each other's way!!

The Referee is an absolute joke - Lampard should have been off. Chelsea get away with murder!

Bit off subject but the thing that has struck me is the number of beards on show. Coles full monty is a beut, but ther are at least 3 others. None up to the Vine standard. Are beards the new in thing for footballers I wonder.
As for the game booooring.

I hate Chelsea. The Champions League in one of the highlights of the year but Jose and Co manage to turn it into watching Crystal Palace v Hull. Hopefully more entertainment tomorrow.

Chelsea were always gonna park the bus, with eto'o and Hazard back next week they'll be favourites.

Love how everyone hates on them, maybe they should pass pass and pass and never win anything.

Mourinho being lauded for a defensive display. Did he not criticise Sam Allardyce of 19th century tactics when he did the same against Chelsea? Fair play to him, always seems to get the result he needs but finely in the balance and not a bad result for Athletico.

Obviously I don't want England to win the world cup but maybe they should take note. Just bore everyone to death and scrape their way through.

Anyone else think that the chelsea keepers kit was to much like the rest of the teams?
Wouldn't make chelsea favs to go through. Great result for Athleti. They will score at the bridge next week, no doubt about that.

Yeah they can be frustrating to watch and could open up more against lesser teams but it's all about winning. I'm sure all their fans couldn't care less how they won the champs league.

Liverpool are always going to win on sunday, so much momentum at the moment. Jose getting his excuses in already (resting players, champs league priority etc)

Totally agree he won't but wish he would, even if Chelsea were to win on sunday they need city to drop more points. Very slim chance of them winning the league.
