Hopefully Robertson gets a game.

It was while playing for the U20's that he got injured.

I very rarely say this but I hope the Hearts U20's win tonight.

No Robertson so clearly won't be in squad for st midden game , no O T J who has played in last few games so is he saving him for st midden game ,no Maybury so same as 0 T J like the look of attacking options with horrible ,Zoubir,Cummings ,handling and Watmore ,interesting to see how they fair billy and if Boateng looks like he can step up as if he isn't deemed good enough to get game against st midden then he has been a wasted signing .

possibly not worth taking the risk with Robertson. He may be demonstrating his fitness in training, bounce games etc.

What was final score as we really needed to win tonight to have any chance of winning that particular league ,and it's how they play under pressure that maybe indicates how good their potential is .

I'm just back and it was poor tonight - best for Hibs would be Zoubir probably, for a tidy performance, nothing spectacular though.

Did they get beat by hearts? If they did and get beat by Rangers we really could have a chance!

Two draws and a win in last three games keep us in hunt but am sure they will be disappointed not to have won .sounds from folk at game as if wasn't best performance but another goal for Cummings ,if only that could be reproduced in first team..he must at least be on bench for st midden

Hamilton played well and closed Hibs down all over the park. A draw probably a fair result in what was a keenly fought game

Did Whatmore handling and Cummings manage to combine well or were they not given space .just thinking of st midden game and if he goes for youth or sticks Hayes up top and tries to get support to him

Too many long balls tonight, didn't play through the midfield as normal.
Celtic lost 2-1 at Hearts tonight, so we gained a point on them

Cummings was his usual lively self and was in the right place to nod home his header. Overall though the team never really got going and we looked shakey at the back.

Celtic still to play Rangers, so someone has to drop points, a wee draw wouldn't go amiss

Cummings is an odd wee player. He seems to get in the right place and stick it away for the u-20s yet for the first team he seems to get in the right place and fluff his lines. Hopefully he matures with that in the next few months as we really need a goalscorer!

To be fair Jason is only 18 and is in his first year as a senior professional footballer. He has a lot to learn still and will mature with the good coaching from James McDonaugh.

Absolutely :agree:.

Not having a go:aok:, it's just that usually when a player has "that knack", it translates easily. See the miss against (I think) St. Johnstone when he just needed to make contact to score. I bet he would have managed it in the U-20s, but for some reason, it just eluded him.

Forgot he was the youngest of the lot ,he should be able to use experience gained and take it into next season .Hopefully in a better team where not so mutch pressure on him as team winning and scoring every game unlike just now ,when every chance is scrutinised as they are few and far between and if not taken it's costing us .

Updated table: http://spfl.co.uk/reserve-and-youth/u20-league-table/

It was a busy week for the lads as they drew 3-3 with Kilmarnock (away) last Tuesday, beat Celtic (away) 2-0 on the Thursday, the EOS side beat Hawick (Away) 3-0 on Saturday and then a 1-1 draw (home) with a Hamilton side who look like finishing 4th in the league.

The lads now have a title decider on Saturday in the EOS league followed by playing away to Dunfermline next Tuesday 22nd April, their final U20 fixture is scheduled for Tuesday 29th April against Kilmarnock.

They are also still in with a shout of winning 2 further trophies with the EOS Qual League quarter final match against either Berwick or Hawick and The EOS King Cup 2nd Round v Hutchie Vale scheduled for the 30th April. :flag::flag:

You forgot to mention that we have the small matter of the East of Scotland Shield game against the wee Jambos, Will our Under 17's make it 11 years in a row? The date for the match will be announced shortly but it will be played at Easter Road.

The EoS Qualy League game will be played at East Mains on the the 26th, we will not find out our opponents until the 22nd when Berwick Rangers play Hawick RA, should we win that match, we also have the home advantage in the semi-final.
