With Danny Haynes and Owain tudor jones now back available and ryan mcgivern suspended what sort of line up do you think we will see? Aswell as hanlon out it will be a very different back 4. Is maybury back from his suspension? Baptie come in at left back or stick with stevenson? Personally would like

Make shift defence but went for stevenson for experiance and as iv rarely seen baptie play. Limited options at right back and centre back also.
OtJ and thomson come in as both break up play well and are comfortable on the ball, unfair on taiwo who for me has been playing well but we have been leaking goals so something has to change in the middle.
Harris and stanton on the wings give the energy and enthusiam to get up and down the pitch helping out the full backs whilst causing the opposition problems with their skill and both have a good cross on them.
Cummings and handling up top as both have been on fire for the under 20s and are high in confidence, having seemed to of made a good partnership it makes sense to me as we have no one else confident and scoring

We need to be positive in this game. I think sacrificing width to play 2 up front and playing St Mirren through the middle would be our best bet. Trying to play with width when we don't have enough pace, so that we can feed a striker that isn't best suited in a solo role, isn't working.

This game we need to battle and earn the right to play(something we don't seem to do very often anyway!). Up against players like Goodwin if we don't stuck in he will run the game.

Butchers had 2 weeks to prepare a team and game plan so let's see if there is evidence of that.

He won't go with Sutch an inexperienced back four IMO .Boateng hasn't done that well in under 20 team to suggest he could step up without causing us problems so when you factor that in he won't also play two untried full backs .why one of these hasn't been on bench recently and given some game time is beyond me given problems defence has been having Mayburry played against Celtic along with OTJ for under 20 s so think they will be in T B s plans . he will probably revert to Haynes up top unless he gives the two youngsters the first half to see what they can do as they have been on form for under 20 team
