Hibernian Reserves I see play Hawick this Saturday down at Hawick, 14:30pm Kick off.

The Reserves have 2 games left in the East of Scotland league against Hawick and Easthouses Lily. Currently sit joint top with Easthouses so 2 big games.

Ideal to get down and give the team a decent support with no senior game. Never know could and should be some senior players playing.

Hawick have a bar overlooking there pitch for anyone that fancies a good day out and few beers.

Think be a few pound just to get in

Anyone making the trip??

Nikki, was there any reason for Baptie being benched today ? Carrying a knock ? He's been solid all season.

Don't know as wasn't there. He came on as a sub in second half and hit the bar from 30 yards! We have a game on Thursday night against Celtic so maybe james keeping him fresh for that? Will ask though

Can we win the league on saturday ?

No I don't think we can, we play Hawick and easthouses play Kelso. We then play easthouses next Saturday at east mains, so I think that will be the title decider.

If Hibs win and Easthouses get beat then yes can win league tomorrow.

I'd imagine few first team players would be playing??

Easthouses Lily MW play Kelso at home tomorrow whilst we are away to Hawick RA.

Hibernian EOS are top of the league with 40 points, Easthouses Lily MW are 2nd on 39.

A Loss for Easthouses Lily MW and an Hibernian EOS win means the title is our lads. :flag:

IIRC, we also currently have a +16 goal difference over Easthouses Lily MW

Full time 3-0. Hibs should have had a couple of penalties, good three points

:agree: Couple of stinking decisions from the ref. Overall I thought we played some really nice football for decent periods, especially once we had settled down to the very blustery conditions.

Do you know who our no.14 was - was it Jordan Sinclair?

Not a limit but there is a limit of parking, people might have to park in lane leading to training centre.

Ref was a clown, Todd shouldn't have got a yellow for diving it was a blatant trip.. Good game especially 2nd half.

No14 was Sinclair

Cheers :aok:

I had a decent view of the first booking for diving - Taylor Hendry I think - and the contact was clear. Absolute numpty of a ref.

I was impressed with Sinclair, especially when we were dominating in the second half. He seemed to be the one making things happen in centre midfield, good movement off the ball, always showing, and spreading the play around.

Yeah it was hendry who was booked for diving in the first 10 mins, ridiculous decision by the ref!

And Scott martin was clearly fouled in second half and again the thought he dived
