Ok, I was bored at work so I have taken the post-split fixtures for the bottom 6, and put in the results for the last time the corresponding fixture was played this season, and worked out how the table would look (games/GD/points) at the end of the season.

Means nothing but I just wanted to see how the other teams might take points off each other, and how many points we might need.

Table as it stands now:

7 Hibernian 33 -15 34
8 Kilmarnock 33 -16 33
9 Ross County 33 -18 31
10 St Mirren 33 -21 31
11 Partick Thistle 33 -21 30
12 Hearts 33 -26 13

St Mirren v Hibernian 0 - 0
Hearts v Ross County 2 - 2
Kilmarnock v Partick Thistle 2 - 1

Hibernian v Hearts 2 - 1
Partick Thistle v St Mirren 0 - 3
Ross County v Kilmarnock 1 - 2

Hibernian v Partick Thistle 1 - 1
St Mirren v Ross County 2 - 1
Hearts v Kilmarnock 0 - 4

Ross County v Hibernian 0 - 2
Hearts v Partick Thistle 0 - 2
Kilmarnock v St Mirren 2 - 1

Hibernian v Kilmarnock 3 - 0
Partick Thistle v Ross County 3 – 3
St Mirren v Hearts 1 – 1

So the table would end up:

8 Hibernian 38 - 9 45
7 Kilmarnock 38 -13 45
9 St Mirren 38 -18 39
10 Partick Thistle 38 -23 35
11 Ross County 38 -19 33
12 Hearts 38 -33 15

Ok, I don’t think anyone can see us getting 3 wins and 2 draws from these games this time round. But if we drew the games above that we won, that would be enough to finish 9th.

I am sure we will get some goals and some clean sheets in these upcoming games, I just hope we get the results as well.

Whatever the results are, teams are taking points off each other. And I think the yams will pick up more than the 2 points above, taking more points from our rivals.

I would take 4 nil-nil draws right now. :aok:

Anyway, I thought it was interesting :nerd:

Too much positive thinking to get a response today, unfortunately.

For me, 2 wins will be enough

If we beat st Mirren and Partick lose to killie that will probably be enough but it's hard to see us getting a win.

I fancy us to win both away games to be honest. Write of the home games because our players can't handle playing in front of our big bad supporters.

What are the chances of the other 4 teams get 3 'free points' off of Hearts just to bring us further into the mire. They must be sorry now that after last weekend Thistle don't have another three to their name.
