One for the historians.
I'm not sure if this has ever happened before, if it has then it must be a rarity.
Both semi finals that were due to be played tonight were cancelled as both Kei Nishikori (who was due to play Novak Djokovic) and Tomas Berdych (who was due to play Rafael Nadal) pulled out of their matches due to illness and injury.
I can't recall any other tournament where both finalists have reached that stage having not had to play a semi final.
It should be a great final though and I'm looking forward to it.
It's hard to believe that Nadal has never won this tournament in his career!
