That's actually quite interesting. So on the whole our record isn't too bad but it seems to me to show that, outwith the good crop of players we had under Mowbray and its legacy over the next couple of years, we have been pretty much a poor, bottom six side since the SPL was established.

Agree with the assessment. It also seems that mosts teams have consecutive runs of top 6 finishes, rather than a few here and there. We've been pants for 6 years, maybe we are about to be good for 6 in return..
