We have a good chance of winning tomorrow. 4-4-2 with the Heff up top for me.

Cairney tired on Saturday and hasn't played recently so he probably couldn't last whole game and Heff has while looking sharp on his return again hasn't played a lot so he might not manage full game so depends if he wants to play him till needs subbed or wants to bring him on I second half but for longer period ,but think he will be tempted to start him as will want to win Heff is the natural finisher if on form ,but a
so holds ball up controls it and can bring others into play with link up so him and Cairney going forward together as per 3rd goal on Saturday is what's been lacking without them in team .

Get Nelson dropped, Lewis out of midfield and Craig back wide.

He won't tinker with defence as needs continuity just now and Nelson has goal threat at set pieces .Lewis when he hasn't played full back for a while looks like he will get done by fast pacey winger and makes us more vulnerable

I don't think Stanton is at his best too far up.

I would go with BMD's team with Craig starting and TT on the bench.

Will Yogi pick an almost reserve team with Sunday's final in mind?

It'll be interesting to see how Stanton develops and where he starts to play once Terry has his new squad in place at the start of next season.

At the moment - I think Stanton is playing deeper due to our injuries. Personally - I feel he will be at his best playing just off the striker. We'll see though. We're probably both wrong!

TT before Craig and I agree.I agree, Craig has been terrible lately, particularly playing there. Taiwo and Stanton played well together.

I agree with your general point but the back 4 have had more than enough games together under Butcher for there to have been improvements imo, but that just hasnt happened. I fully expect the back 4 to remain the same, but I dont think there could be any complaints if some of them were dropped.

As for the team -

Williams
Forster Nelson Hanlon McGivern
Cairney Taiwo Stanton Stevenson

Don't think we will go 4-4-2 tonight, Collins upfront on his own in a 4-5-1.

Wouldn't surprise me if Yogi goes with his strongest team for tonight, (playing for there places for the final on Saturday) type of thing from Yogi.

Craig has to be dropped for tonight, has been poor for ages and you can't have passengers in the team against ICT, if he does start then hope he takes a warm jacket and proper foot wear for the long walk home. :greengrin

changes from Saturdays team.

Heff in and Haynes/Collins out.

Really tempted to say TT for Craig. Although in keeping with the whole team I thought Craig was better second half.

Stanton looked better in centre mid rather than further forward.

Let's move back up to 6th tonight with a thumping win at Inverness, followed by a comprehensive going over for Saints against Dundee Hibs. Rather splendid.
