View Full Version : Louis Tomlinson of One Direction

Seen it on the news that Louis of One Direction signed for Doncastor Rovers in the summer as a reserve player and had made his debut last night, coming on for the last 25 minutes or so. I think there's a charity tie in somewhere but Doncaster managed to get 4,000 at a reserve game on a Wednesday night which isn't too bad.

Maybe we should be sending amny young Hibs players along to X Factor auditions with the hope that they'll end up in the new One Direction and they'll get time off from touring the world to keep playing for Hibs and in doing so attracting thousands of more fans to Easter Road.

Their regular attendance at league games is just over 8,000.

There is a charity tie but I am sure Doncaster will have taken "expenses" and from the looks of things, he hasn't hurt the merch sales!

Mental.

Having a few thousand wee lassies assault my eardrums with high pitched squealing at the fitba, is my idea of hell.............

:agree: I saw the report of the match on Sky Sports News earlier and I sincerely hope and pray that we never experience anything like that.

That is also my idea of hell.

Did he make a song and dance over any of the refereeing decisions?

Think he's regarded as a semi decent player. Sure he turned out in a charity match at parkhead a few months ago, in a celtc strip, and limped off after a pro clattered him.

It was Agbonlahor who clattered him.

I've seen limited footage of Tomlinson but he looks honking. That said, I bet he's got a cracking website!

That's guaranteed to happen. The guys in the other team will be having prematch bets about who can crumple him first.

I could understand it if a young, up and coming player had clattered him....but a seasoned pro?

Agbonlahor is an absolute areshole for doing that. Obviously insecure.

if memory serves me right he was sick at the side of the pitch after the challenge. The top he was wearing was then sold at an auction for charity.

I'm worried as to why I know so much about One Direction...

It doesn't matter what age he is, a pro shouldn't be going in hard on a guest who isn't an athlete. Footballers with nothing to prove and who aren't trying to act the hard man let them get on with the game and ridicule them in other ways if they have to.

No bias here. I'm a union j man.
