Anyone heard if Kevin Thompson on the bench for them tonight Start of comeback trail following in the footsteps of Tom Tiawo who played against St Mirren for under 20s and then went straight into first team and hasn't looked back

Bright start and then a fairly scrappy half hour.
Heffernan is getting a shift if nothing else. Big Boateng looks like he needs games.
Cummings working hard. Euan Smith showing promise, nether Max Todd or MCafferey as lively as I've seen them.
Falkirk have a bit of energy centre mid where Hibs are getting no peace to find passes.

We just need to find a settled winning team to bring him into off bench when not same pressure on him to score and once he gets his first senior goal that will help him

Jason really should have had 3.

Was put clean through earlier in second half but missed the chance. Struggled to get the ball under control.

Needs to learn a wee bit composure IMO. 17 goals though - no bad :greengrin

I made it 4. He was clean through at 1-0 and took a shot on which he might have did better with when it would have been easier to slip through to Heffernan who would have had a tap in.
No complaints though. Took his two well and was the top man in a Hibs shirt for me.

Boateng got better as the game reached its closing stages, so while he definitely needs games (his touch was bogging at times), I think he is fit.

Agree about Boateng - had a wee laugh at his swan dive in the second half too.

Looked like he was caught between two minds on whether to drop or not when the goalie came out at his feet - then he left it too late and papped it in the end! Maybe just as well as he was already on a yellow.

Falkirk fellah next to me started to get a bit vocal about it but quietened down when I motioned him towards the car park with the rest of the green U-20 massive........:greengrin

I turned round on the scaffolding to see what the commotion was, I wish I never as I held in laughter for the next 10 minutes when I was filming the game. Everyone around the scaffolding were chuckling away - a priceless moment. :greengrin
