On page two of yesterday's Herald's Sports Section there is a picture of Ian Murray with Dumbarton Rock in the background. In the bottom right corner you can see a green saltire Hibs flag on the wall behind the goals with a barely discernible '1875' on it.

Anyone know the reason or occasion?

Pre-season friendly?

Aye it was pre-season.

Tis my locals flag, any chance you've got a photo as they seem to have cropped it on their website article?

For anyone interested in the article it's here - http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/football/murrays-team-from-the-rock-are-on-a-roll.23403524

Afraid I don't. I could only do it the steam way and cut it out, but in any case the flag is extremely small and I could only make out the 1875. I'd forgotten we'd played them and couldn't understand why it was there.

I'll have a look at the picture tomorrow (it's in the car and it's pssing down!) and check the credits. May be SNS.
