Does this idiot or the journo who penned this piece not realise that The Rangers went out of the League Cup to Forfar in the first round!!

Maybe they'll just award it to them for old times...

The treble he's talking about is the Ramsden Cup, the Scottish Cup and League 1

Yep, but it's hardly 'The Treble', is it.

Ramsdens cup and the Second Division Title, it's what all Big Clubs strive for.

I liked this quote...

"Why not? It’s not our fault that we’re not in the Premiership"

I liked that quote as well - does make him seem like a welt,
What are the stars on their shirts meant to represent. Generally it is achievements in a clubs history - so I guess one of them might be winning the 4th division,

The BBC needs to replace "Only An Excuse" with half an hour of Lee McCulloch interviews - much more amusing.

Not according to the journalist it's not:

"RANGERS captain Lee McCulloch says that if his side win the Scottish Cup, League Cup and League One titles, he will consider them to have completed The Treble."

Scored about 15 goals in 4 years in the SPL and then scores about 60 in last 2 seasons. This is the same lad who said there isn't much difference in quality between top tier and 2nd div.

Not known many players to hit their peak at 34. Tube.

I always understood from the time that the new club was allowed to join the SFL League Three and subsequently the SPFL League One, that these asterisks are to cover up a sweary word consisting of a consonant, a consonant, a vowel, a consonant and another vowel. Have I got this wrong?
