Steven Whittaker is a classic example of the benefits of choosing that path but everyone is different - just get a bit tired of this George St obsession. Giving up so many temptations as young men must be a lot harder than it is made out to be....anyone who wants to be a top athlete and be the best they can be would obviously have to make all the right choices but not everyone is like that.....perhaps those Hibs players who don't go out and about are at home with two bottles of wine and a Chicken Jalfrezi and stay up until 4am on their X-box?!

Very good point. The sedentary indoor culture which has an unseen grip on all levels of our national culture, is probably far more damaging than the odd raucous public blow out in George Street.

Really?? I was fixtures and fittings there for a long, long time but never saw him....fair enough tho', guess everyone has their vices!!
