View Full Version : Yams Crayola man and the high fives

No, it's not some crazy new music group....

I'm told by a friend that around 93 mins when Inverness have a corner, crayola man is seen high fiving some yam fans. My mate tells me he's seen footage, recorded from the tv, although I don't think this footage is online yet. I'm pressing him to tell whoever showed him it to get it uploaded and as soon as he does, I'll post a link. My mate reckons that, in any case, the footage should be on sportscene later.

If anyone (for whatever reason) has access to footage at the moment, please could you check and confirm. Then we can all, to a man, laugh as loudly as we have for an incredibly long time.

High fived the fans, lost possession from the corner and f***ed it up against 9 men for one more minute. Then he shat it to take a penalty, leaving kids (and Jamie 5 bellies Hamill) to take responsibility. What a legend.

Just looked back at coverage timed at 92.07, (oh the irony 0-7) yams win corner, tattoo man high fives one fan and then grab ball and snorts a one nostril flyer out his nose before placing the ball down.

Only 113 seconds left and 2-1 up and a 2 man advantage. What could possibly go wrong.....

Hearts won a corner, the ball was lying by the boards then Stevenson dinked the ball over the board to waste time, he jumped over to collect the ball and high fived a fan in the process. Excellent time wasting skills in front of a llenient referee. But (and here's the important part) he doesn't have the brains to run down the last minute once he places the ball in the corner. A few seconds later its 2-2. Im glad St Mirren agreed to play that outstanding league game to free him up for the semi.

Au contraire, DTS. I though he spoke okay and didn't display any visual disappointment.
I don't know why some give him such a hard press.
He captained us at least once and has never to my knowledge said anything disparaging about Hibs.
Also, he's one of the better punters on the box.
On the opposite end of the stick? Think Dodsy.

Been told that Crayola man and Daniel Wilson opted out of the penalty shoot out against ICT.

Because ICT had two sent off HOMOFC had to select two players to sit it out.

The two heroes bottled it and left the laddies to get on with it.

How ironic that 100 years since the start of world war 1 that they now have cowards instead of heroes, McCrae will be turning in his grave.

I think the law states that the two (or however many the difference between the two teams) nominated players can take no part in the shoot out, ie if they had left McDonald out somebody else would have had to go in goals.

I can't believe that a captain would shirk the responsibility of taking a penalty.

In army terms you would think he would have lead from the front (hope you can see what I've done there :greengrin)

Couple of sh!#ebags. :agree:

Been told that Crayola man and Daniel Wilson opted out of the penalty shoot out against ICT.

Because ICT had two sent off HOMOFC had to select two players to sit it out.

The two heroes bottled it and left the laddies to get on with it.

How ironic that 100 years since the start of world war 1 that they now have cowards instead of heroes, McCrae will be turning in his grave. We should just be glad that 'humpty hamill' wisnae allowed tae bottle out :greengrin

an absolutely sh-ite penalty :agree: :faf:

Absolutely. The two of the most experienced players in the team, the guys who should be leaders, shat themselves and cowered away letting the young laddies step up instead. And theres big Ryan Stevenson giving it the big un about he how he LOVES hearts and would do anything for them etc etc. Coward.

Correct:

"If at the end of the match and before the kicks start to be taken from the penalty mark, one team has a greater number of players than its opponents, it must reduce its numbers to equate with that of its opponents and the team captain must inform the referee of the name and number of each player excluded. Any player thus excluded may not participate in kicks from the penalty mark."

Remember they all though Rudi was a hero last season when he 5hat himself from taking a pen for DU in their shoot out. Wonder if they will think Captain Danny and Moon Man are heroes now as well?

Ooooohh danny wilson,
he's our captain,
he 'loves' the hearts,
a chance to make the final,
get some money in the bank,
he stood aside and shat himself,
and then the jambos sank...

Ooooohh danny wilson...

aye but in WW1 the captain would have sent the laddies over the top first-class

The sad part about it was the fan he mid-fived(?) pumped his fist in a "get in" motion, obviously nursing a semi over touching the hand of one of his.. heroes

Then again with all that's going on with them they need a hero. Shame they picked a guy who has enough tattoos to join the circus

Surely not, even the likes of McCrae?

Surely not, even the likes of McCrae?

The battalion was raised in Edinburgh and McCrae commanded it on the Western Front. After what was seen as the battalion’s failure in action in August 1916 however, the divisional commander removed McCrae from command and assigned him to a reserve unit. He was judged to be popular with his men and personally brave but he was thought to have deficiencies as a leader, probably an unwillingness to incur casualties. Despite this judgment of their chief, McCrae's Own, as the battalion was known, had managed to penetrate deeper into the enemy line than any other regiment during the ‘big push’ of July 1916.
