It will never catch on with the Buckiecham drinkers - saw a few today, BTW.

One Liverpool game in particular I remember was at Sunderland where everyone was down below at HT getting a pint, concourse was bouncing more then than in the stand when they scored the goals. :tee hee:

That looks mental!

Do they have a tie with the actual song or was it just because it's a crackin tune? :flag:

Watched this yesterday. Belter. Was a good one of Leeds fans doing the rounds earlier in the month as well. In fact on YouTube there's literally hundreds of concourse videos from down south. We're missing out big time on such banter. 20 mins standing waiting on a pie at HT is as exciting as it gets up here

I like to think that started off with just one guy singing under his breath, then his mate heard and joined in an it just snowballed.

Think this is a Coventry song. No idea why they sing it though.

It's also a West Ham song, purely because it's quite fun and always a good laugh. Would guess it's maybe just the same with Coventry rather than having any actual meaning?

Heard it a few times at Hammers games over the past few years.

We had a good sing on the concourse at Reading the other week with Bolton. Albeit because we were 4-0 down and they weren't allowed to serve alcohol until 5 minutes before half time.

"We're sh**e, and we want a pint...."

I recall the friendly at Preston when there was much jollity in the Deepdale concourse at HT. Lots of drink involved then as well.

We don't half miss out up here.

What's happening with the ridiculous rule that we're not allowed a pint at HT anyway??? Was there not talk last year of getting it overturned? Not wanting to start another debate but its an absolute joke that we're not trusted to have one beer at the football. England fans have caused carnage at pretty much every major tournament they've been at in recent years yet they seem to be trusted. At a time when we are seriously struggling to full stadiums, we certainly ain't doing everything we can to entice fans back.
