Noticed Hearts have rearranged their fixture with St Mirren to be played the week before the semi final. Does this mean he will be available for the semi final now?

Not ideal for them having a midweek fixture a few days before such a big game so assuming this is why they have agreed to it. Here's hoping it back fires!

Reeks of desperation. Risk of tiring their poor squad before the semi just so that freakshow can play. What about the health & safety aspect? :greengrin These are just young players remember, asking them to play 2 games in 4 days seems a bit much.

Obviously not when it suits there own purpose , unless of course some committee rubber stamped this date without consulting them

With the big cup game at the biggest football ground in Edinburgh, Hear7s will just rest most of their major stars so they are fit and ready by the weekend.

Ryan Stevenson should do the world a favour, stick his face in a meat grinder and go live in the woods.

Hope there's a monsoon just before kick off and it's postponed.

Nah but see your point. Under usual circumstances and the lead up to a cup semi this would not usually happen but because of a suspension to one of their senior players they are happy to play it. Makes it harder to play such a game in 4 days.

So what they are doing is now totally writing off every other game this season apart from one. Lose this game and not only is the season finished but a financial godsend would disappear. The cash could save them.

Meanwhile, it's business as usual for ICT as they continue to improve.

What's the opposite of "no pressure lads"?

No doubt they are more desperate for the gate money in the short term than they are worried about the welfare of their young players.

As they have gone to all that trouble you have got to hope he keeps performing consistently and gets sent off in the semi as well.

To see how enthusiastically this news is being greeted on jkb is a measure of how far their shabby little club has fallen from its unaffordable heights.

I love how Stevenson, who was absolutely slaughtered by the pink asbestos slum dwellers when he jumped ship a couple of years ago, is now their main man. How the mighty have fallen! :flag::flag:

I'm wondering if they think they will get a point from the Saints, and put them onto ground zero. How morale boosting would that be for them, just before the semi

His match sharpness,if he had any in the first place will be affected being out for a couple of games.

Caley thistle are picking up again so could be a good day for them.

Good times! It's like cheating to build your entire team round Joe Keenan!

I've said this before but Ryan Stevenson single handedly demonstrates how much those clowns have sunk. They HATED him after he left. They also didn't overly rate him. Now he's viewed as some sort of messiah, purely cause the rest of the squad are so utterly pump

You could see the way he throttled the Saints player on Saturday. A real dirty, amateur Sunday leaguer. He got covered in tatts in order to create interest, because his footballing skills certainly didn't or haven't.

St.Mirren, the team they've called 'St.Liedown' since 1986 doing them a favour ? - makes the saints the 'Bigger-Team' then, which I suppose will rile the 'Windae-Lickers' once the penny drops.

It's Lennon being smart by scheduling this match before rudi signs, apparently!
