Not seen either of these before, caught them on YouTube and interesting they are for nostalgia freaks.

First game v Motherwell a draw at ER with a packed North enclosure and some brilliant stops by the Well keeper.

Second game at Ipox another draw with wee Bertie as manager, spot the crowd at the bigotdome. Check out our massive support that day :agree::greengrin

Does anyone know if there's any footage of a Scottish Cup tie from 1995 i think against Motherwell?

We won 2-0, Kevin Harper definitely scored 1, maybe both and i think the Well fans started paggering amongst themselves late on.

A familiar event in those days Russ, we used to go up the stands hoping to get a bit of peace to watch the match but a soon as they knew my Mother was a nun apparently.

There are a few old videos I found today that have had hardly any views on Youtube.

Alex Miller's first game in charge against Souness' Rangers at Easter Road in Dec 1986. A certain Terry Butcher looking shaky for Rangers.

I think that was my first visit to Ibrox. Back then we were given a section in the main stand before the 3rd tier was added.

They'd take weeks to upload.
Need to strip the video out the DVD first now.
Was some good watching.

Forgot how many "stars" were in the Rangers team in the cup semi. Mo, Super Fanny etc

Anyone got highlights of the 2-1 derby win,Lavety scored 1st then Robertson equalised from a free kick (decent goal tbh) then Harper went on a mazy run and poked it into the corner, what an atmosphere, for some reason I think it might have been an early kick-off mid week game, also Mcleish's 1st derby ??

Loved that game. Shame we still ended up going down. If McLeish had arrived just a couple of months earlier then we would have been safe, I'm sure of it. Was defo a Sat afternoon game. Honestly can't remember ever seeing Robertson take another free kick in his entire career, let alone score one like that!! Ridiculous and so typical of him against us.

Sure that was Robertson's last goal against us,comes off the bench & with practically his 1st touch scored :( absolute pandemonium when Harper scored, one of my fav derby games :)

Harper was clean through and the ref blew for HT that day it was a joke. The away end kicked off big time and the so called baby crew jumped in got hammered and were crawling back over the fence only for other fans trying to throw them back to the well fans. Was funny as :D

Said to my dad just before the free kick, "Robertson's gonna score this". He replied with "no son, he doesn't even take free kicks!". Well he does against us! He could have played in goals for them against us and he would have scored with a goal kick!!

One of my earliest derby memories is of us being 1-0 up at ER after 90 mins, the ref then played easily 7 minutes of injury time and up he popped with a scrambled equaliser. I was only young but I'm sure it was during their 22 game run

Was that the first game after miller left? My memory must be going cos I thought hunter scored the winner with a header in that game! Loved gerry mcnees "another classic example of rangers not being tested in scotland" at the end of the first half :greengrin

His comments about the penalties are brilliant.

Hibs one is about a yard out the box 'Never a penalty, shocking decision'.

Rangers penalty about 4 yards outside the box 'Definite penalty, great decision' then gets the hump because Hunter wasn't sent off.

'You just sensed the only way Hibs were going to score today was a penalty or set piece'. 3 seconds later 'And it's another goal for Hibs'.

Was def Alex Millers first game as manager - the game you are thinking of was a different one, the famous first game of that season when Blackley was in charge, which was Souness' first game.

Quite a lot of firsts there :greengrin

Had forgotten how much of a complete rocket McNee was. Disgrace what he got away with! ''Hibs were only ever going to score from a penalty or set piece!'' We had about 12 shots at goal before we scored! ''Hibs got a penalty that clearly wasn't, Rangers have now got one that clearly was!'' Deary me

This was my 2nd ever derby. First was at Tynie on NYD 98 when we drew 2-2. Fulton had them 2 up after what seemed like minutes lol
