I felt George the Aberdeen and Dundee United games if we had got two draws the attendance on Saturday would be around 12-13k so will the defeat on Friday have a impact and see us back down to the usual 10-11k?

Who is George and why did you feel him?

Still optomistic for a good turn out on Saturday 12-13k should be achievable, epspecially when it may go towards current transfer budgets!

The attendance will be between 9500 and 10500,there is no chance we will get 12k never mind 13k

George? George Foulkes? Did you feel him when you were in Hearts Hospitality at the weekend?

Between feeling George , and conspiring with that other imposter from Livingston , on the thread about writing to the police for official hearts attendance ,you will be looking at a longer stretch than him.
its only st mirren who are on a downward trajectory just now , and won't bring big support .No new signings to get excited about ,so if we got 11 000 that would be ok for this time of year .Anything more would indicate some of those at the Derby have decided to come back for another look but if they watched the Aberdeen game it would of made them think twice .Am going to see how we bounce back from big Tells first Hissy Fit . I expect a response from the team so might be a good game to go to

If we can persuade every George we know to attend, we could reach these types of figures. And if they all brought along a Mildred, it might even sell out.

Think George is a grill

So, he's been feeling his George Foreman then?

Surely he got burns on his hands from doing that.

If we can get around 17,000 showing up for a Thursday night game then surely a Sat game at 3pm will draw in even more fans? Ha

You are forgetting the expensive festive season, ticket prices, crap pies, we haven't signed Messi, Petries a ****, it's cold, itchy teeth, r in the month etc etc etc.

I'll be going along....I must admit my last game was the Partick game. I don't have a season ticket and I'm no rich, ya know what I mean, . . . .
I reckon we'll get a 11k + crowd. maybe :tbgwa:

Sorry, maybe I am wrong but 10 or 11k has not been the usual for an ER attendance for quite a while now and is usually around 9k, 10k if we are lucky (cheers for that legacy Pat Fenlon).

Given the way things have been for a while, we've not yet done enough to have the fans flocking back in their droves so I would suggest an attendance of ten thousand and something for a home game v St Mirren in mid January would be decent enough.

12k - 13k for this sort of fixture at the moment is fantasy stuff. Though it is clearly the sort of fantasy figure Hearts pedal out on a weekly basis.

Has it been proven that touching up George increases attendance figures? If so, that accounts for Hearts bogus attendees and Pishy Breeks continuing presence at the PBS.

Is touching George the sequel to Freddy got Fingered?

Colin Calderwood is to thank for that more than Fenlon but let's not go there :greengrin
