It's like watching football at inch park with this crowd.

Dreadful atmosphere, which is par for the course in Sky SPFL games these days.

The derby the other day was an obvious exception. Even Celtc's fans were pretty quiet last week against Killie, which is unusual for them.

4k of them were at perth when mcnamara put out a reserve team and they were trounced. That was hardly the way forward for fan retention.

Can't understand the size of ICT support. Could understand if they had a "bigger" team in Inverness, as well as ICT. I'm wondering if the majority of Invernesians prefer the Shinty.

Nope. Inverness has always been a great fitba town. The fact that they had three Highland League teams prior to the Caley/Thistle merger suggests the appetite for football is definitely there.

Wonder what ICT fans are making of yogi?? He seems to have turned the 2nd best team in country into a poor outfit. D utd been all over them...

Do they travel to Nairn and Elgin instead? Just interested as to why they don't give more support to their City team. Has the support dropped since TB left do you think?

I would guess, with ICT being a fairly recent team, there will be a a lot of Old Firm (And perhaps Aberdeen and as you say Elgin etc) fans based in Inverness.

Geordies could get a red before HT if they don't calm down.

Every person I've ever met who's from Inverness supports The Rangers. Hardly scientific research, however that's my experience of things.

What a difference after watching the ICT game. Not knocking our game but the divide is soooooo wide.

You shouldn't be surprised though, with some players on 200k a week i'd be demanding a huge divide in quality.

Got a chance to cash out for £170 as Man C are winning, but Newcastle are looking good. Take the £170 or hold out for £305?????

Ah right, I see. :greengrin

Newcastle have had more possession, but chances have been few and far between between the 2 sides. I think it's more likely however that Man City will grab a 2nd goal, due to individual talents in their team.

But don't take my word for it. I don't want to be held responsible. :greengrin

Has to be the worst ref I've seen in EPL, I like the toon but Cabaye should have seen red for persistent fouling & that tackle on Nasri was borderline assault. Not to mention the goal not given.
Ref totally out his depth with no authority over the game.

I think the ref took advice from linesman for the disallowed goal.

Why tho, linesman didn't flag so surely if ref was seeking advice goal should have stood.

AP was telling ref at H/T that the linesman was right & ref was wrong. Shot took a nick off City player en route.

I saw that, but i thought i'd seen the lineman put his flag up for an infringement, i'm probably wrong but in the melee i thought he had his flag up?

not ce John Hughes said ICT will win more when their luck gets better. I hate when managers say this basically saying aw I don't know how to get it right but a gift from the gods will see us alright. this isn't only Hughes, lots of managers say the same.
