It's how the big teams do it.

Only wee teams such as ourselves count the turnstyle clicks to ensure we get the true attendance figure.

Expect full house attendances at the danger dome next season, despite half of the fans being dressed as seats.

Think the mistake is grammatical rather that mathematical. The problem lies with the mix-up with the prepositions at and on. The match day questionnaire should have read "Are you at the game?"
